Flexible Instruction Days

The Penns Valley Area School District was approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to use Flexible Instructional Days (FIDs) in place of Emergency Closures/Make-Up Days. FIDs provide for instruction that is delivered largely in an asynchronous way. The maximum number of FIDs we are approved to use in a school year is five. 

Should the district implement an FID, please visit the 6th Grade Google Classroom to access the zoom links and, in order to be marked present for the day.
