Welcome to Mrs. Shawver's 6th Grade Class

It is with great excitement that I welcome you a brand new school year!  This year will be full of learning, exploring, and success!  This is my 14th year teaching in the Penns Valley Area School District and my ninth year in sixth grade.   I am a proud Penns Valley graduate from the class of 2003.  I received my bachelor's degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2007 and my master's degree from Wilkes University in 2017.  Prior to coming to Penns Valley Intermediate, I taught fourth grade at Miles Township Elementary.  I am excited to begin this new year and work with another awesome group of students!
